Circuit Judge

Judge Napp is a lifelong resident of Madison County, having graduated from Roxana High School.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1989 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1992.  She served as a Madison County, Assistant State’s Attorney from 1993 until she was appointed an Associate Judge in 2007.  Judge Napp was elected Circuit Judge in 2012.  She is currently assigned to the Criminal Felony Division and is also the presiding judge of the Mental Health and Drug Alternative Treatment Courts.   Judge Napp  is a co-founder of the Madison County Child Advocacy Center.  She lives with her husband, Allan, an attorney and their three children; Ian, Aiden and Grace.
