District 2

Stacey Pace represents District 2 on the County Board, which serves residents in Troy. She first took office in 2020 and voters re-elected her in November 2022.

Her goals as a board member are to be fiscally responsible, make sure to maintain the safety and well-being of county residents and support the county’s efforts for economic development and growth.

Stacey currently serves as the County Board Vice-Chair Pro-Tem. She is also the chair of the Government Relations and Health Department and Mental Health committees as well as serves on the Grants, Executive and Public Safety committees.

Stacey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Public Relations from Greenville University. She’s worked in community relations and as community educator with various financial institutions as well as a substitute teacher for the Triad School District. She is currently working as a payroll and accounts receivable specialist.

Stacey grew up in Staunton, Ill. before moving to Madison County more than 25 years ago. She currently resides in Troy with her family.

Stacey stays involved in her community as well as serves as a board member of the Metro East Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also a member of Metro Community Church in Edwardsville.
