District 26

Jason Palmero is serving his first term in District 26, which encompasses Glen Carbon and western Edwardsville.

His goals as a board member are to bring common sense and good judgement to the board and serve the people of the county. He serves on Government Relations, Health Department and Mental Health and Transportation committees.

Jason grew up in the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville communities. After graduating from Edwardsville High School he enlisted in the military and served active duty in both the U.S. Navy and U.S Coast Guard, working in navigation, search and rescue, law enforcement and as a boat coxswain.

He currently works as a realtor and real estate investor. He’s also worked for multiple companies as a job recruiter.

Jason and his wife, Laura, of 18 years, are the parents of two children. He enjoys spending time with his family at his children’s sporting events, traveling and adventures in their Jeep and with their 4-year-old Golden retriever, Millie.

The Palmero’s are also parishioners at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon.
