District 3

Frank Dickerson serves the District 3 seat on the County Board. He took over the seat on Feb. 15, 2023 replacing longtime board member William “Bill” Meyer who died in early January.

Dickerson’s district is the largest, most rural county board district. It includes six townships — Leef, Alhambra, New Douglas, Omphghent, Hamel and Olive — in northeastern Madison County.

He serves on Building and Zoning, Grants, Judiciary and Personnel committees.

Frank is a lifelong resident of Madison County and moved to Worden in 1996, where he lives with his wife Jill. He served two terms as village president of Worden from 2005 to 2013 and prior to that he served as a village trustee for one term.

Frank is a graduate of Lewis and Clark Community College and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in production and operations management.

He currently works as a purchasing manager for icon Mechanical in Granite City.
